STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擝eginning this summer, a longstanding Mississippi State master鈥檚 degree program will be available online for the first time.
Open enrollment already is underway for the Master of Science in instructional technology degree. Offered by 小黄书鈥檚 College of Education, the program has proven to be a popular choice among campus students in the instructional systems and workforce development department.
April 1 is the application deadline.
鈥淭he totally online instructional technology degree now allows us to attract graduate students from anywhere鈥攏ot just in our state or nearby鈥攚ho desire knowledge and expertise in the instructional technology field and who wish to work in educational or business or industry environments,鈥 said Connie Forde, head of the instructional systems and workforce development department.
She said the online venue has been designed to attract a diverse range of new students who can choose from concentration areas including instructional design, distance education or multimedia. The curriculum includes a total of 33 hours.
