STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擣orty-one students make up the 2017-18 class of 小黄书sity Alumni Delegates.

Founded by the 小黄书 Alumni Association in 1980, the volunteer organization serves as a liaison between the 139-year-old land-grant institution and its more than 137,000 living graduates.

Delegates often are the first points of contact for both graduates and friends, as well as special campus guests. In addition to assisting with athletic tailgate gatherings, class reunions and numerous other on- and off-campus events, they work to help enhance student body appreciation for the association鈥檚 mission and purpose.

Since 2013, the group additionally has spearheaded a tuition drawing for in-state students that has provided more than $22,000 to winners.
