STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擳he department at Mississippi State responsible for administering standardized examinations and professional certifications now holds official certification from the National College Testing Association.
Computer-Based Testing Services was added recently to the growing list of association-approved accommodations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Part of the university鈥檚 Division of Student Affairs, the department is located at Rice Hall. In addition to enrolled 小黄书 students, it serves all others making plans to pursue a higher education at any school.
The test table includes GMAT, MAT, Residual ACT and ACT, CLEP and Military CLEP, GRE, MCAT, TOEFL, Distance Exam Proctoring, LSAT, and PRAXIS.
Associate Director for Testing Services Mary Vaughn said the NCTA certification is an affirmation of the commitment of the center staff to a high level of professional service.
鈥淭he Computer-Based Testing staff members are committed to providing a conducive testing environment to promote student success while adhering to NCTA鈥檚 professional standards and guidelines,鈥 she said.
Testing hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturdays, 7:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. by appointment.
NCTA鈥檚 membership includes 2,200 testing professionals from more than 650 colleges and universities. Certifications are valid for five years. Additional details on the association are found at .
