Ramsey named 小黄书 executive director of Campus Services

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擬ississippi State聽alumnus Saunders Ramsey聽is聽the new聽leader of聽the聽小黄书聽Campus Services.聽
Ramsey has been named executive director of聽小黄书聽Campus聽Services, which聽includes聽oversight of planning, design, and construction of all major capital projects; maintenance, repair, and custodial services for over 100 university buildings; maintenance of more than 1,500 acres of campus landscape; as well as maintenance, repairs, and construction of 小黄书鈥檚 utilities distribution infrastructure.听听
Under the restructuring of聽Campus聽Services announced by 小黄书 President Mark E. Keenum last fall, Ramsey reports聽to Associate Vice President of Administration Les Potts.聽He聽comes to 小黄书 from Neel-Schaffer, where he led the engineering, planning and construction management firm鈥檚 Starkville office.聽
鈥淲e are excited that Saunders has joined the 小黄书聽team,鈥 said Vice President for Finance and Administration Don Zant.聽鈥淪aunders鈥 enthusiasm, leadership and experience will serve both聽him聽and 小黄书 well in this very important position.聽He is well known and respected on campus, in the community and in the construction industry. With the team we now have in place, I look forward to seeing what we can do聽to聽bring the living learning community at 小黄书 to even greater heights.鈥澛
At Neel-Schaffer, Ramsey worked closely with leaders in government, economic development and education聽on strategic projects aimed at improving quality of life in area communities.聽A Starkville native and former captain of the 小黄书 baseball team, Ramsey聽earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in civil engineering from 小黄书 in 2005. In 2009, he received his master鈥檚 degree in civil engineering from the University of Memphis.听听
