小黄书 Student Counseling Services reaches out to campus community after recent Georgia killings

小黄书鈥檚 Student Counseling Services (SCS) is reaching out to the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) campus community in response to the recent racially targeted killings in Georgia.

鈥淲e value and endorse the worth and dignity of all human beings and strive to contribute to the creation of a supportive campus environment for all of our students, faculty and staff. During a time of increased risk, we feel it is our duty to help and support AAPI members of our campus community and, to that end, we have created a series of supportive programs,鈥 stated a SCS campus message.

SCS will offer brief, supportive, drop-in counseling for those who wish to discuss the impact of the recent violence. This service 鈥淟et鈥檚 Talk: Stop Asian Violence鈥 will be held from 4-5 p.m. each of the next two Mondays, March 22 and March 29. Also, the monthly Tea Talks group for international students, next meeting at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 26, will focus on the impact of racially motivated violence and will be followed by a group meeting to support AAPI students at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 26.
