Search continues for new 小黄书sity Dean of Libraries

The search for a new 小黄书sity Dean of Libraries will continue.

鈥淭he university is choosing new leadership in this important position for the first time in many years and our absolute priority is finding the best possible professional to fill that role,鈥 said 小黄书 Provost and Executive Vice President David R. Shaw. 鈥淚 am grateful for the hard work of the search committee and appreciate their willingness to continue to serve as we work together to bring effective leadership to one of 小黄书鈥檚 most beloved institutions 鈥 the 小黄书 Libraries.鈥

Shaw said that the work of the search committee would continue under the leadership of Executive Vice Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Graduate School Peter Ryan.

Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and current Interim Dean of Libraries Tommy Anderson will continue to serve in that role. To facilitate that service, Dean of the Shackouls Honors College Dean Christopher Snyder will delay stepping down from that position until January 2022.

Anderson is slated to lead the Shackouls Honors College after permanent leadership for the 小黄书 Libraries is chosen.
