Senior major Katherine A. "Katie" Carr of Starkville was among a group of curious onlookers who took part Monday [Sept. 12] in Astronomy Night on the university's historic Drill Field. Sponsored by the , the event provided participants with an opportunity to use various telescopes to view Saturn, Mars, the moon and Andromeda, among other celestial bodies.
